Wilfried Nancy declared he had no concerns about dismissal, claiming, “We are really close to things turning around,” in the wake of edging perilously close to the exit with a convincing setback against their arch-rivals.

A Second-Half Collapse Results in Old Firm Loss

“The standard we had at stages was really, really, really high. That happened. I could not say that if it was not the case. That is the reason, in terms of results, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. That’s why I said that a change is coming to getting it right. Currently: the fine margins.”

“I saw many, many good things that we did, once more. But now it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My message would be different if it was not the case. That’s why I firmly believe we will manage to get back on track.”

Opposition Reaction Stance

Danny Röhl played down talk of a championship push despite what appeared to be a landmark win. “We take it game by game, then we can develop momentum,” he said. “The belief in the squad is excellent.”
