Locating a Venezuelan-affiliated Tanker 'Pursued' by the US Coast Guard

We are checking images and video shared earlier today that purport to show the aftermath of a alleged car bomb blast that authorities in Russia state fatally injured a high-ranking military officer in Moscow.
Officials in Russia stated that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was in the vehicle that exploded and that he succumbed to his injuries. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the location from which the pictures originated relied on social media reports saying the explosion occurred on Yasenevaya Street in the southern district of the Russian capital.
Our analysis employed street-view imagery on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex to match the unique yellow colour of a nearby residential complex seen in the video.
Locating other structures, lamp-posts and the road configuration confirmed where the pictures were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were recent and that the images had not been digital alteration.
